AWARD RULES
PLEASE NOTE,
Membership is required to participate in any AzCHA cutting event.
You must be a current AzCHA member to be included in the year end standings. If you want your earnings reflected in the standings please send your membership form to Kathy Unfried with your payment.
Owners and riders must both be members prior to showing to be included in the standings.
AzCHA AWARDS FOR ALL CLASSES
In order to qualify for year-end awards in all classes, the contestant must meet the criteria listed below. In classes where rankings are based on money earned by the horse, the criteria for a qualified contestant will apply to the horse. In classes where the rankings are based on earnings by the rider, the criteria for a qualified contestant will apply to the rider.
- Contestants must earn sufficient money in an individual class at those shows produced by and those other shows which are approved by AzCHA to be placed in the AzCHA standings. All year end awards will be based on total money earned by the contestant in each respective class at the shows noted above.
- To be considered for AzCHA year-end awards each contestant must enter and show at the AzCHA produced shows a minimum of 30% of the time the individual class is offered and has enough entries to be held.
- Rerun Riot Classes, ($1,000 Amateur, $2000 Limited Rider, $15,000 Amateur and $35,000 Non Pro), The top money earner in each of these four classes will be awarded a saddle and a buckle and riders placing 2-5 in each of these three classes will be awarded a buckle.
- For all other classes, the number and type of awards to be presented will be determined by the AzCHA Board of Directors.
RERUN RIOT
The ReRun Riot is a Year-End Champion Award in the $35,000 Non Pro, $15,000 Amateur, $2,000 Limit Rider and the $1,000 Amateur.

CIRCUIT AWARDS
Circuit awards may be awarded as outlined below:
- At shows and in classes as determined by the Board of Directors.
- Winner must show in the class each day that the class makes at the show.
- Winner will be the contestant who wins the most money in each class at the show, unless otherwise determined by the Board in advance.
AzCHA AWARDS FOR THE YOUTH CLASSES
- There will be no minimum number of shows required for year end awards for riders in the youth classes.
- Points will be awarded to Junior Youth and Senior Youth as they have been in the past by AzCHA.
- AzCHA points earned at those shows produced by and those approved by AzCHA will determine the rankings in each of the youth classes.
- The number and type of awards for the Senior Youth and Junior Youth classes will be determined by the AzCHA Board of Directors.
